Decluttering Your Life
Energy flow in your living environments
“To attain knowledge, add things everyday. To attain wisdom, remove things every day.”
— Lao Tzu
I recommend a mini version of everything for less cost. Things that are efficient but small and don’t require maintenance, things that don’t take up much time or space but still work well.
Creating a system to declutter your life is as easy and simple as this:
Identify the exact tasks you need to do every week to remove blockages and get closer to the life design and living environment you want.
Once these weekly tasks are identified, you prioritize these tasks and ensure they get done every day.
However, don’t think of progress as day-to-day things. Instead, buy into your system and focus on following it in every detail.
As time goes by, tweak and adjust your system to ensure you are making incremental progress. Create gauges and metrics to measure your progress better, while focusing on the main aspect of momentum.
Remember: Most stuff was once money, and most money was once someone’s time and energy. Before buying something, ask yourself exactly how the product will be used to enhance your life and the lives of people around you. Will it ever sit around collecting dust? If so, don’t be afraid to put it back on the shelf!
